Welcome to the REACH Lab Blog! We are excited to launch this new part of our website (as a teenager/emerging adult in the the late 90s + early 2000s, I wrote my fair share of Xanga blogposts and learned a lot through MySpace!)! The purpose of our blog is to host a space where REACH Labbies can share first person narratives that describe the ins and outs of our experiences as we learn about and try to do research together. Often times, research spaces can feel intimidating, exclusionary, or just all together a mystery. As a lab that values qualitative narratives and community participation in our research, we hope that telling parts of our own stories and how we’re navigating our roles and relationships to the research process can be useful to prospective students, others considering participating in research, and our community in general.
