Connections
Dr. Yang is the founding faculty adviser for USF's Psychology Student Association (PSA), which aims to contribute to the community within the Psych Department. The PSA runs the Psych Buddy Program connecting incoming first years and transfer students with seasoned majors to facilitate connection and engagement for all members of our department. Active Minds is a national student-led organization that aims to open up conversations about mental health through education, research, advocacy, and a focus on underrepresented populations. Dr. Yang is the founding adviser for USF's campus chapter of Active Minds.
AATSF is a non-profit foundation that provides scholarships and resources to support African American teachers in high-needs schools. Dr. Yang serves as a board member for AATSF.
